The effects of hard times on religious faith will be explored at Lifetree Café at the Southeast Regional Library Branch, Conference Room A on Thursday, May 10th at 7:00pm. The program—titled “Where Is God When Life Turns Tough?”—features a filmed interview with John Stumbo, a former pastor and marathon runner who suffered a sudden, life-threatening illness that attacked his entire muscular system. “I was discovering the faith I had come to claim as a child was now being tested,” Stumbo says. “It happened in a venue I never expected, an ICU ward where the threat of death was very real.” Like us on Facebook/LTCHopeJax.
