Hi, my name is Farrah Albertie. I am the single adoptive mother of 2 sons I adopted from foster care 8 years ago.

I am currently in the process of adopting from Haiti and I am diligently raising funds to help defray my adoption costs. I have partnered with an awesome organization called Angel Bins (www.AngelBins.com) that will give me a grant to help fund my adoption for collecting unwanted shoes. How cool is that?

Would you please donate your unwanted shoes to help me get a grant towards my adoption?

I am collecting previously owned and new shoes in good condition until September 13, 2015 – My goal is 10,000+ pairs of shoes! If I reach my goal I get a grant of $4500 or more that goes directly towards my adoption costs!

All shoes collected go to benefit those in need in the US and abroad! So it is a win win situation for everyone involved!

PLEASE HELP ME OUT:

* Donate shoes of all types and sizes ( No snow boots or metal spikes) – PLEASE tie the string together or band them together with a large rubber band,
* Ask your friends to donate
* Allow me to set up a collection box at your church or business.
* Help spread the word

For shoe pickup, please call Farrah Albertie @ 904-450-9984, inbox or email me @ – farrahalbertie@gmail.com

For more information and updates, please visit http://myhaitianadoption.com/ or http://facebook.com/myhaitiadoption

To verify my adoption, please contact my agency CCAI @ (813)994-1000

Does your daughter struggle with loneliness and/or negative peer influence? Does your daughter possess a self-centered, “me-first” attitude? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please consider allowing the S.O.S. Girls™ experience to become part of your family. S.O.S. Girls is a mentoring and community service outreach ministry for girls age 12-18 that is sponsored by Sisterhood Of Servants, Inc. The objective of the program is to be a voice of influence in the lives of young women to help cultivate and promote actions and attitudes characteristic of those who live with a heart for service and a heart for others. We are excited to kick off another year of ministry, so please make plans to attend our Open House on Thursday, September 3rd from 6-8:30pm at West Regional Library (Chaffee Rd.) in Community Room A. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared determination to make this breast cancer’s last century.

You can help finish the fight against breast cancer by raising funds for and walking with American Cancer Society Making Strides of Jacksonville. Join more than one million people each year who are helping to end breast cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.

Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.

We ask that you support the tournament by promoting the event to fellow golfers. You can also participate by playing in the tournament, and by making a donation to be a sponsor for the tournament. There are three levels of sponsorships available this year. Please contact Terry Frank for additional information. If you own a business or know someone at a business that would be willing to make a sponsorship donation, this is a great way to advertise, and to be seen as a business that supports the community. You may also wish to donate a prize to be used as a hole or door prize for the tournament, or include an advertisement flyer or item to be distributed to all players and sponsors.
We will be grateful to you for any way you may be able to assist us in the above endeavor.

For $75 per person you receive a box lunch before tee-off, all golf and cart fees paid for, free range balls, an opportunity to win a hole prize on every hole, senior only prizes, an entry to the $100 putting tournament, a BBQ Ribs and Pulled Pork Dinner, and more!! There are Mulligan’s (3 for $10) and an Awards Ceremony immediately following the tournament. Additional dinner guests are only $15 per person. Raffle tickets will be sold during the dinner to include numerous door prizes from local vendors and small business.

PLEASE CONTACT TERRY FRANK ON OR BEFORE
