Not proofs, but pointers,” says Collins. “The fact that the universe seems to have a beginning is crying out for some explanation of how you can go from nothing to something.” Like us on Facebook/ltchopejax

Location:

For five consecutive years, the Jacksonville believers have marched declaring that God Belongs In My City through a prayer walk. The first march gathered over six hundred people. The event was a complete success with Believers represented from countless denominations, uniting to speak with their lives that Jacksonville is worth praying for. Each year the number of participants continues to grow. We know that there is a war raging for the hearts and souls of those in our city. We must take a stand for righteousness and justice to prevail. Come and join the prayer march, and be an active participant of what God wants to do here in our city. Amazingly this fire is spreading to other cities and nations. To date, we have seen over 75 metropolitan cities join across the U.S. and march together, declaring “God Belongs In My City!” Countries like Liberia, Haiti, Canada, Switzerland and Guatemala have also joined the movement. Come join us as we come together to proclaim that God Belongs In Our City!!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared determination to make this breast cancer’s last century.

You can help finish the fight against breast cancer by raising funds for and walking with American Cancer Society Making Strides of Jacksonville. Join more than one million people each year who are helping to end breast cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight. By signing up, fundraising, and participating in one of our noncompetitive, three- to five-mile walks, you will help us be there for everyone in every community touched by breast cancer. You will help those who are currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a diagnosis in the future, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.

Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.
