Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to families and children, is hosting a Family Literacy Night event for Jacksonville families on Sunday, Feb. 9. at 2:30 p.m.
Better Together organizes programs at various locations to bring parents together for community, to support each other and often hear from expert speakers. This no-cost event, in partnership with New Worlds Reading and Carpenter’s House, will include reading games and activities, free books and prize drawings. An early dinner will also be served.
The Feb. 9 Family Literacy event will start at 2:30 p.m. at Carpenter’s House JAX, located at 945 Carrie St. in Jacksonville. Admission is free and includes dinner.
