ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. David Palmer is an Adjunct Professor of New Testament. Dr. Palmer holds a PhD in New Testament backgrounds from the Hebrew Union College. His doctoral dissertation focused on the role of Scripture in shaping a Godly life and was entitled “Judaic Paideia: the Philosophical Argument and Use of Scripture in 4 Maccabees.”
He received his Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He was immeasurably blessed during his seminary years where he learned to read the Scriptures with God at the center, to taste the sweetness of the original languages, and to discover God’s plan of redemption in Jesus Christ. At Gordon-Conwell, he also met his beloved, Godly, and learned wife Dr. Christine Palmer, who teaches Old Testament at the seminary. Together they have two children who attend Gordon College.
