SUMMARY:April 9 Nationwide Days of Second Chances Job Fair
DESCRIPTION:Better Together is breaking down employment barriers by hosting a series of background-friendly job fairs across the country as part of its Nationwide Days of Second Chances. In Jacksonville\, a job fair will be held Thursday\, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at NorthBound Church\, located at 8808 Lem Turner Road.  \nTo support job seekers who are faced with challenges to re-entering the workforce\, Better Together’s Days of Second Chances brings churches\, volunteers\, businesses and nonprofits together to host a coordinated job fair that features background-friendly employers and provides resources including free one-on-one job coaching sessions to review resumes and interviewing skills\, clothing and haircuts. Child care is also available for job seekers with children.  \nJob seekers and background-friendly employers can register online at BetterTogetherUS.org/NWDSC.
