7 Creeks Fest invites you to celebrate and explore the scenic waterways, diverse ecosystems, and winding trails of the 7 Creeks Recreation Area. Spread throughout the connected wilderness parks and preserves surrounded by seven creeks, this family-friendly, fun event raises awareness of these preserved public lands and how we can help protect them.
The event is March 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Betz-Tiger Point Preserve at 13990 Pumpkin Hill Road will serve as the welcome hub where you can find information, visit exhibitor booths, enjoy food trucks and live music. Activities are planned throughout the 7 Creeks Recreation including guided and self-guided hikes, kayaking, canoeing, biking, and more. An entire list of scheduled activities can be found at 7creekfest.org. A free shuttle bus will be running between the welcome hub and most trailheads and parks.
7 Creeks Recreation Area includes Betz-Tiger Point Preserve, Bogey Creek Preserve, Cedar Point Preserve, Cedar Point (NPS), Jim Wingate Preserve, Pescatello Island and Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park. The 7 Creeks partnership is made up of the City of Jacksonville’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (JaxParks), Florida Park Service (FPS), National Park Service (NPS), North Florida Land Trust (NFLT), Timucuan Parks Foundation (TPF) and Visit Jacksonville.
