Our all-volunteer, community orchestra is proud to present Civil War to Civil Rights a free concert open to all in Jacksonville, FL. This event is more than a musical journey—it is a space for reflection, dialogue, and community healing.

– “The Montgomery Variations” (selections) by Margaret Allison Bonds
– “Harlem Symphony” by James P. Johnson
The Jacksonville Civic Orchestra is honored to have singer Jay Ivey join in its upcoming concerts as the narrator for Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait.
