Jacksonville Home + Patio Show

Just in time for spring’s rejuvenation season, the Jacksonville Home + Patio Show returns to the Prime Osborn Convention Center from February 28-March 2, 2025, with a robust schedule of features specifically tailored to meet the home-improvement needs of North Florida residents.

The show’s special guests include custom home designers Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt of HGTV’s 100 Day Dream Home.  The Tampa-based design duo is known both for their witty banter and for designing and building perfect custom homes for their clients in 100 days or less. Brian started working construction jobs in college and began flipping houses on his own after graduation. After the 2008 housing crash, Brian got back on his feet by opening a chain of fitness clubs before reconnecting with Mika — 10 years after they first met as juniors in high school.

The Kleinschmidts have streamlined the entire process of homebuilding: from designing the house, to finding the lot, to making countless little-but-important decisions that come with building a house. Mika guides clients through the process and design, while Brian oversees the building and construction.

Known as HGTV’s “winningest competition couple”, they’ve also conquered the Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge and Rock the BlockThey also went head-to-head on the new HGTV series 100 Day Hotel Challenge, renovating two retro motels along North Carolina’s coast.

They share their best design tips on the Fresh Ideas Stage at 3 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Show guests can also meet one of North Florida’s newest residents, well-known to fans of Bravo’s hit show Below Deck. On the reality show, Captain Sandy Yawn leads the crew aboard a luxury yacht as they navigate working together and create five-star guest experiences. Sandy appears on Saturday, March 1 at 11: 30 a.m. to fulfill audience “preference sheets” – whether they are interested in behind-the-scenes scoop from the show, how to bring superyacht luxe into your home, questions on leadership or how they can participate in Sandy’s quest to get a Florida “Boating Capital of the World” specialty license plate available.

Other show highlights include:

Sit, Sip and Sample. Foodies will want to check out the schedule of daily cooking demos on the Fresh Ideas Stage, including the fun-living Culhanes siblings with cocktail/mocktail recipes from 5 Sisters Spirit Vodka and pre-St. Patrick’s day fun. Additionally, food trucks will be on-site on Friday and Sunday.

Home Depot Kids Workshops. One popular intention for the new year is to spend less time in front of screens – especially for kids. A trip to the show provides a hands-on, screen-free activity for kids with a free DIY workshop from The Home Depot. The workshop – free with admission – helps young DIYers build their skills and get creative. Located in booth 1331, while supplies last.

Save Time and Money. The process of a home improvement project mostly starts online and can only go so far before an ‘in real life’ encounter to see, touch and feel and to see if you feel comfortable with the person and teams coming into your home and doing the work. A visit to the Jacksonville Home + Patio Show is a must for anyone with a project in mind – not only does it save time (hundreds of local experts all in one place) but it can also save a significant portion of the project fees as many exhibitors offer their deepest discounted show only rates.
