A group of Jacksonville Beaches residents is launching a new community effort aiming to raise $1 million in a single evening to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida. The initiative centers around the Magnolia Lane Ball on May 9 at Atlantic Beach Country Club, inspired by stories like Ashlyn, a local child whose wish brought hope to her difficult medical condition.
