Salvation Army Red Shield Ball
October 17 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida is celebrating a milestone as its 13th annual Red Shield Ball returns Saturday, October 17, with an unforgettable evening of elegance, entertainment and philanthropy. This year’s gala will begin at 6 p.m. at the Adam Herbert University Center on the University of North Florida campus, located at 12000 Alumni Drive.
Blending the charm and spirit of the bayou with the sophistication of a glamourous evening, the Red Shield Ball promises an inspiring night that brings together community leaders, philanthropists, supporters and friends who share a commitment to making a difference.
Beyond the glamour and celebration, the evening shines a spotlight on The Salvation Army’s mission to serve the most vulnerable members of the Northeast Florida community. The event offers guests an opportunity to celebrate the organization’s impact while helping advance its work of providing hope, compassion and essential support to individuals and families in need.
The Red Shield Ball is more than a glamorous evening out; it is a celebration of generosity, community spirit and the belief that, together, we can bring hope to those who need it most. This year, The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida has a goal of raising $80,000 for a Dining Pavilion, so the area’s homeless can eat with dignity and have a place to escape the elements. This is an extension of the Carpenter Family Marketplace Phase 3 Project, a past Fund-a-Need Project for a food pantry to provide meals to needy families on the First Coast.
