A basic women led woodworking class that breaks down the barriers keeping women from being comfortable with tools. You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence you need to safely operate the below tools safely.
STEP STOOL PROJECT: During this 4-5 hour workshop, you’ll be introduced to the circular saw, jig saw, kreg/pocket hole jig, an impact drill and an orbital sander. We supply the tools & materials.

With a focus on creating a safe, comfortable, relaxed and judgement free learning environment in which women with little to no experience with power tools can thrive. Our goal in this introductory power tool course is to help empower women to use power tools, get the hands on experience and allow them the time to practice until they are comfortable with each tool. Then we will proceed on to making the step stool of which you take home with you the same day!
With an eagerness to learn and the right mindset, you will quickly gain confidence in creating, independence and improve your mental well-being.

Class Requirements
All participants must sign liability waiver which is available upon arrival.
Please do not bring small children. Call the school for approval before signing anyone under the age of 18 up for a workshop
